Heritage Birds Small Needle Case Pattern

Jazz up your beading tool kit with a beaded needle case! Following on from my popular pen, tape measure and charms, this sweet pattern features popular birds from the UK, including a robin, sparrow, kingfisher and finches. As seen in Riverside’s Bead Box #57.

Follow the chart to bead around the outside of a short wooden needlecase. This pattern consists of a bead chart, word chart and the full instructions for you to create a complete beaded needle case cover. Includes bonus scissor charm with robin, blue tit and bullfinch patterns using brick stitch.

Previous knowledge of circular peyote stitch is necessary and some experience of following charts would be helpful.

You can use any bead colours that you wish for your scene but my suggested colours are on page 4 of the pattern.

• Size 11 Miyuki Delica beads in 11 colours

• 1 x 6cm / 2.5 inch wooden needle case (approx. 15mm diameter)
