Description
Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW) is a stitch which strikes dread in to the heart of some beaders! Fear not! Let me guide you through this stitch – step by step – and I’ll help you conquer CRAW and have you weaving with confidence.
If you’ve taken any of my classes or perused my website you’ll see that many of my projects use CRAW. I really love the versatility of this stitch. With it, it’s easy to create structure and it opens itself up to lots of different uses.
While it seems complicated, at its heart, it’s just Right Angle Weave!
This booklet includes basic CRAW instructions – it does not include any projects or patterns. As well as clear step-by-step instructions with diagrams, the guide includes links to videos demonstrating the techniques.

Materials required:
- Seed beads (eg Toho or Miyuki) or Cylinder beads (eg Miyuki Delicas)
- Fire polish beads are helpful too
- Beading thread (eg SoNO, OneG, KO, Miyuki, or Superlon)
- Beading needles
- Embroidery scissors
Most suitable for beaders with some experience of RAW. Tutorial includes step-by-step diagrams, close-up photos where extra explanation is needed and easy to follow instructions. It also includes a how-to video demonstration!
