Beaded Christmas Present Box (CRAW) Pattern

Create self supporting 3-dimensional cubes and add ribbons to make tiny gifts or Christmas presents. They make for a fun festive pair of earrings or tree decoration/ornament. Add some jingle by encapsulating a bell or chiming ball inside your cube!

This project uses seed beads and is a great way to play with Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW). Some experience with Right Angle Weave (RAW) is recommended. Instructions for CRAW and a video guide are included

It’s easy to upscale this design by replacing the size 11 seed beads with size 8s to create larger cubes. The finished sizes are: 15mm for a size 11 box and 22mm for a size 8 box. You can even make tinier cubes perfect for daintier earrings and instructions are included for this variation.

Materials required:

Full quantities are listed in the pattern. You will need:

• Size 11 or 8 seed beads (box)

• Size 15 or 11 seed beads (ribbon)

• Toning beading thread

•  Small bell (optional)

•  Ribbon to hang
