Stars & Flowers – Virtual Workshop

These fun components use CRAW to build up 3-Dimensional shapes. By making some very small tweaks you can turn them into either stars or flowers – and use them to make some stunning jewellery designs!

We’ll use 2mm glass beads on the edges to add interest and dimension. The fun things about these is you can easily scale up the pieces by using larger beads!

Opt for bright rainbow hues or choose subtler tones – play with colour to really make the design your own. The components make pretty earrings or pendants – or can be combined together for necklaces or bracelets – or even a 2-1 set! The possible combinations are endless!

This class is suitable for advanced beaders, some experience of CRAW is a must.

Online Workshop Requirements

The class will be taught using Zoom online meeting software. This will allow you to see me and your fellow classmates (you will have the ability to mute or turn off your camera at any point if you wish). We can also share photos as we work.

You will need a computer/laptop, smartphone or tablet with camera and audio capabilities. You will need to download the free Zoom software or app to your computer, phone or tablet in advance of the meeting. Full details of how to join the online meeting will be sent to you upon booking. The app/software is free and you do not need to create an account to attend the class.

Workshop Materials

Materials are not included. You will be sent a full requirements list upon booking. You will need:

• Size 11 seed beads (duracoat are useful!)
• 2mm round glass beads or druks
• Beading thread and needles

You’ll find many of these materials are widely available! However I do love the range of 2mm that Tanzee Designs carry.

About the class

Class sizes are kept small so you can be guaranteed plenty of help and support. I will have two cameras in use during the class so you will be able to see my demonstrations up close in high definition as well as my face! There is a messaging function in addition to the meeting audio as well so plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss the project. My classes are fun and informal with plenty of opportunity for discussion and general chatter.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the session and the fact you will be sent the full pattern upon booking refunds cannot be given if you are unable to the session. If you cannot make one/all of the sessions I will try to swap you to another date for the same project if available but this cannot be guaranteed. I am always available if you have any questions on the project after the workshop.
