This virtual workshop will be taught over two 2.5-hour sessions. You will be sent a PDF instruction booklet upon booking to print at home.
Embrace the spirit of Ancient Egypt with this dramatic pendant that uses a combination of stitches, including Right Angle Weave and incorporates Czech glass beads and sparkling crystals.
The finished piece is hung on a Chenille beaded rope – instructions for this are included but you can choose to hang it on a a cord or chain if you prefer!
This project was inspired by the ancient Gods of Egypt and represents creative cycles. Khepri was God of the rising run and was depicted often as a scarab holding aloft the morning sun. He was seen as subordinate to the greater sun god Ra. The Eye of Ra was a goddess and was an extension of Ra’s power – she was his consort.
Suitable for intermediate-advanced beaders. Experience of Right Angle Weave is recommended.

Class sizes are kept small so you can be guaranteed plenty of help and support. I will have two cameras in use during the class so you will be able to see my demonstrations up close in high definition as well as my face! There is a messaging function in addition to the meeting audio as well so plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss the project. My classes are fun and informal with plenty of opportunity for discussion and general chatter.
If you cannot make the session I will try to swap you to another date for the same class if available, but unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed. If swapping is not possible then I will offer a refund, providing at least 8 days’ notice is given prior to the class start time. Unfortunately, once the Zoom link and pattern have been sent out then no refunds can be given after this time.
I am always available if you have any questions on the project after the workshop.
If you have any questions please contact me. I’m looking forward to seeing you!
