Description

Originally designed as my entry into the 2023 Battle of the BeadSmith Earrings Challenge – these fun components offer huge versatility. Create just the small central component and turn them into dainty earrings or pendants, or join them together for a bracelet.

OR expand the component into the full mandala design. These make excellent statement pendants, or earrings like mine! Combine multiple components for necklaces and more – see where your creativity takes you!

This pattern assumes you are comfortable with peyote stitch.

If you missed the Live beadalong with BeadingSchool where we made the Mini Mandalas, then you can watch it on YouTube. The jewels use chatons, Ginko beads and seed beads.

To help you, I’ve curated bead bundles in four magical colourways; Sundancer, Lotus, Lapis and Sahasrara – and Erika and her team have put them together. The bundles include enough beads for you to make up to two large mandala motifs and four small mandala motifs – or a combination! Enjoy experimenting!
