Description
This sparkling project uses different sizes of seed beads, SuperDuo beads and two sizes of round glass beads to create a frilled floral-inspired pendant that dazzles!
The pattern shows you how to use right angle weave to bezel a dramatic 18mm rivoli and then embellish it with peyote stitch and freeform beading techniques.
For more confident beaders, there is the option to add additional embellishment with picots to the front of the bezel and tips of the flowers.
You will learn how to create a dainty bail to hang your beautiful pendant, stitched using seed beads, or you can attach a ring/split ring. The finished pendant can then be hung on a rope or cord of your choice. As seen on Jewellery Maker TV.
Materials needed:
- 18mm Rivoli
- Japanese seed beads in sizes 8, 11 and 15
- 3mm round glass beads
- 4mm round glass beads
- SuperDuo beads
This pattern is most suitable for intermediate beaders or adventurous beginners. A knowledge of right angle weave would be helpful, although instructions are included. The tutorial includes computer-drawn diagrams, close-up photos where extra explanation is needed and easy to follow instructions.
