Jazz up a plain tape measure with Delica beads and your own personalised design, for a unique and fun addition to your beading tool kit.
This pattern consists of a blank chart for you to customise for your own tape measure. Full instructions allow you to turn your pattern into a complete beaded tape measure; with 2 variations – full or part covered and lots of design tips and suggestions.
Simply print off the chart and colour in your design. Then follow the chart and instructions to bead around the outside.
Previous knowledge of circular peyote stitch is necessary and some experience of following charts would be helpful. Suitable for Intermediate/Advanced beaders.
This project was inspired by my popular Sea Measure workshop (now available as a pattern), as students wanted to take the skills they had learnt to create personalised designs themselves.
The tape measures shown in the photos are for inspiration purposes only, please note the only chart included in the instructions is a blank one for your own design.

You will need:
- 50mm-53mm / 5cm diameter tape measure
- Size 11 Delica beads
- Pencils/pens for colouring the chart
