What is brick stitch?
Brick stitch uses ladder stitch as its base. Then for each subsequent row, each bead is picked up individually and anchored to the thread path from the previous row – it differs from other beading stitches which usually just pass through the bead holes. The finished effect looks like bricks in a wall – hence the name! This beading stitch works perfectly with precision cut beads like Miyuki Delica beads or Toho Treasures.
