Weave pretty little blooms reminiscent of cherry blossoms in this fun tutorial! We’ll use Delica beads and brick stitch to bead the petals and join them together with peyote stitch. Instructions for brick stitch are included in the tutorial.

You can choose whether to bead a loop and string them for a joyful necklace or earrings, or add them to head pins for a pretty posy necklace.

This pattern is most suitable for intermediate-advanced beaders. A knowledge of brick stitch and peyote stitch would be helpful, although instructions for both are included. The tutorial includes computer-drawn diagrams, close-up photos where extra explanation is needed and easy-to-follow instructions.

Materials required

Full quantities are listed in the pattern. You will need:

• Size 11 Miyuki Delica beads

• Czech glass leaf beads

• Size 11 and 15 Miyuki seed beads

• 6mm pearls/druks

• 4mm bicones

• Findings

• Beading thread

• Beading needle

• Small sharp scissors
