Encapsulate pearls or crystals inside colourful, self supporting 3-dimensional cubes.
This project uses seed beads and is a great way to expand your knowledge of Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW).
You could easily replace the size 11 seed beads for beads of any size to create larger or smaller cubes. Strung on beading wire the cubes make a dramatic necklace, or why not attach a jump ring to just one for a subtler geometric pendant.
Please note you will likely only complete one cube in the class. However a full handout will be provided to help you finish the necklace at home should you wish to create the full design. We will also explore other ways of embellishing CRAW components.
Most suitable for intermediate-advanced beaders. You must have some experience of working with CRAW. I recommend taking my CRAW for beginners class first, which takes place in October at Surrey Jewellery School.
