Celestial Armilla Workshop
Saturday 8th October – 11am-5pm
The Horsebridge, Kent. Hosted by Bead’n’Banter, Whitstable
Create a 3-Dimensional pendant with moving parts! Use Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW) and seed beads to create spinning rings to encompass a bezelled crystal. These will be ingeniously joined together to allow them to move independently for a stunning, wearable pendant. It also makes an interesting tree ornament.
Most suitable for intermediate-advanced beaders. Previous experience of RAW and CRAW is recommended. Feel free to bring your own beads, alternatively kits will be available at the workshop.
Cost – £40 excluding materials.

Japanese size 11 seed beads in two colours
Japanese size 15 seed beads
1 x 12-14mm crystal drop pendant or briolette (or larger if you prefer)

0.6mm wire
8mm jump ring, headpins and earwires
Ribbon to hang
Small piece of toning Ultrasuede (approx. 3cm x 3cm)
Note on beads: Toho beads give a really nice finish to this piece; you will end up with a slightly chunkier more square finish. Miyuki will give a more rounded finish but work just as well!
