Be inspired by the opulence of historical jewel-encrusted stomachers but with a modern twist. This piece plays homage to the Georgian penchant for multi-use jewellery! It’s a stomacher and statement necklace in one!
It can be worn as a unique stomacher over a corset; the project can be clipped onto cleverly constructed loops on the front of a corset for a jewelled stomacher – or joined to a beautifully coordinated beaded rope for a stunning necklace. Of course, if you prefer, you can make it just as a necklace and skip the joining clasp!
The components themselves have heaps of uses beyond this incredible necklace, and tips and suggestions will be provided throughout the class for other ways to use these beaded beauties!
To create the beaded bezels around the crystals, we will be using Right Angle Weave (RAW) to capture the stones, before we add embellishment. Intermediate-advanced: This project is suitable for those with some beading experience and is a great opportunity to practice RAW!
Online Workshop Requirements
The class will be taught using Zoom online meeting software. This will allow you to see me and your fellow classmates (you will have the ability to mute or turn off your camera at any point if you wish). We can also share photos as we work.
You will need a computer/laptop, smartphone or tablet with camera and audio capabilities. You will need to download the free Zoom software or app to your computer, phone or tablet in advance of the meeting. Full details of how to join the online meeting will be sent to you upon booking. The app/software is free and you do not need to create an account to attend the class.

About the class
Class sizes are kept small so you can be guaranteed plenty of help and support. I will have two cameras in use during the class so you will be able to see my demonstrations up close in high definition as well as my face! There is a messaging function in addition to the meeting audio as well so plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss the project. My classes are fun and informal with plenty of opportunity for discussion and general chatter.
If you cannot make the session I will try to swap you to another date for the same class if available, but unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed. If swapping is not possible then I will offer a refund, providing at least 8 days’ notice is given prior to the class start time. Unfortunately, once the Zoom link and pattern have been sent out no refunds can be given after this time.
I am always available if you have any questions on the project after the workshop.
If you have any questions please contact me. I’m looking forward to seeing you!

I first discovered Chloe’s classes during COVID. In the years since, I have taken many classes from her. I find her to be a wonderful teacher with fun classes. Many of her classes seem deceptively easy – until you realize you have just learned a new stitch that many find difficult. And she made it fun. Of all of Chloe’s design, I think the Regency Dreams is my favorite. It’s multiple sizes of beaded rivolis connected together to create a beautiful necklace. I have received MANY compliments on mine. Colour choice makes this project uniquely your own. You can choose gemstone colours and create a necklace that looks like it fits in the Regency era. Or you can use bright or unusual colour combinations and make it very contemporary. Best of all, you can take the individual components and get creative on your own. I have personally made dozens of earrings using just the smallest rivoli component. You will regret NOT taking this class.

This was my very first beading zoom class. I had a wonderful time attending. Chloe is extremely personable and her class was well structured. I loved the Regency Dreams class and look forward to wearing my necklace as Mrs. Claus. But the best part is Chloe showed us way in which we can use the individual components for many other designs. I look forward to attending another of Chloe’s classes.
