Description

Create a teeny beaded scarf in your house colours using peyote stitch and a little square stitch! It’s the perfect project to keep your fingers warm (and busy) during those cooler months. Turn your beaded scarf into a cute key ring, tree ornament or bracelet.

You can use any colours you wish for your scarf; as well as your school colours you could also use festive Christmas hues or the colours of a favourite football team! The tutorial also includes instructions for making a matching bracelet!

This project is ideal for beginner beaders but does assume you are comfortable with even-count peyote stitch. If you need help getting started you’ll find my Beginners’ Guide to Peyote Stitch helpful.

Materials required:

  • Size 11 Miyuki Delicas in two colours
  • Toning beading thread
  • Beading needle and scissors

This pattern is most suitable for beginner beaders. A little understanding of flat even-count peyote stitch would be helpful. The tutorial includes computer-drawn diagrams, close-up photos where extra explanation is needed and easy to follow instructions.

While I am happy for you to sell any items you make using this tutorial, I do ask that you credit me as the designer and I kindly ask that you do not copy, teach or share my pattern.
