Weave a statement pendant reminiscent of the lotus flower, using Czech glass beads and seed beads. This dramatic pendant uses Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW) as its base and the finished pendant can be hung on a rope or cord of your choice.

Description

Weave a statement pendant using Czech glass beads and seed beads. This dramatic pendant uses Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW) as its base.

We will then add embellishment to create dimension using dagger beads, seed beads and round glass beads to create a floral-inspired motif. The finished pendant can be hung on a rope or cord of your choice.

This project is suitable for intermediate-advanced beaders. Some experience with RAW or CRAW would be advantageous.

Materials required:

  • 3mm fire polish beads
  • 4mm round glass beads (druks) or glass pearls
  • 5x16mm dagger beads (1 hole)
  • Size 11 Miyuki Delica beads
  • Size 15 Miyuki seed beads
  • Toning beading thread (Fireline)
  • Beading needle and scissors

This pattern is most suitable for intermediate-advanced beaders. It is a good way to explore Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW) The tutorial includes step by step photos, computer-drawn diagrams where extra explanation is needed and easy to follow instructions.
