Pop down to the seaside for a day of art this May! The annual May Days Arts Trail takes place Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May and I’ll be taking part for the first time. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover great art and exciting craft opportunities happening in your local area. And if Hayling Island isn’t your local area, then what better excuse for a day out by the seaside – you could even pop to the beach for lunch and an ice cream!

I’ll be throwing open my studio doors to welcome guests from 10am-5pm both days. Pop in to browse a wide selection of intricate and colourful handmade beaded jewellery, find out more about how they are made and even have a go at making your own.

Learn to make your own beaded jewellery

I’ll be offering exclusive Make and Take sessions all weekend – simply pay a nominal cost for the pattern and materials, and stay and bead as long as you like! I’ll be on hand to help you through the pattern and answer all your questions. (Please note, make and takes are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Places are limited and cannot be booked in advance. There will be a set choice of patterns/kits available).

Refreshments will be served all weekend so do pop in for a natter and find out more about my work. There’s absolutely no pressure to buy, so stop by for a chat and a cuppa before you head off to discover some other local artists on the trail.

Most of my current beadwork art will be on display, with handmade beaded jewellery available to buy if desired. I also happily undertake commissions, so why not talk to me about a special design for a wedding, prom or big event?

I look forward to seeing you there!
