The latest issue of Making Jewellery is perfectly timed – bursting with fresh projects that are just perfect to make and wear for this year’s garden parties.
Spring is in the air; it’s now warm enough to brave the outdoors in just a cardigan – and I even saw a butterfly yesterday! Hurrah!
Some favourites projects from the May issue include Clair Wolfe beaded link necklace on the cover along with Emma Ralph’s cute little polymer clay birds – they’re adorable!
I was delighted to be included, my contribution for this issue involves bezelling crystals and creating fun little flowers with rose petal beads. The project gives instructions for bezelling dainty 14mm x 10mm Swarovski fancy stones, these can be combined in countless ways with other other floral accents in pretty pastel colours to create a whole host of wearable pieces of jewellery.
My favourite of the three makes featured is the Crystal Garden collar which would look fab over a simple top as day wear to to bring sparkle to an evening outfit.
The May issue is on sale now! If you make any of the Crystal Garden projects then do share them on our Facebook page, I’d love to see your take on them!
