It’s been a little while but you’ll find another of my projects in the latest issue of Making Jewellery magazine.
Issue 86 (November 2015) is on sale now and inside you’ll find a wonderful array of autumn inspired projects using all different kinds of materials. My Emily Triangles beadweaving project is a wonderfully fashion-forward piece that is ideal for day or evening wear alike.
It was inspired by a favourite piece of jewellery belonging to my friend Emily! A simple gold metal triangle necklace; every time she wore it I found myself thinking ‘What would that look like in beads?’. I started playing and came up with matching earrings and a ring too.
This design looks classic in gold but the whole look could be changed by simply switching up the colours – how about a funky bright pink or even multi-coloured set?
If you do have a go at this project then send me a pic or two! Don’t miss Issue 86, on sale now from WH Smiths and many bead shops. You can also subscribe via the GMC website.
