Fall beading colours to wake you up!

If, like me, you don’t do beige, brown, khaki or any of the ‘traditional’ fall colours, then you might be keen to see these 2024/25 colour trends…

I love the smell of autumn, the feel of crisp leaves underfoot and the return of soups and sweaters. I’m not such a fan of the darker nights and the fact I have to put away my summer wardrobe with its bright floral prints and floaty skirts. Thankfully my warmer wardrobe is just as packed with bright prints and colours!

For those who, like me love a pop of colour to see us through the shortening days, then no worries! I’ve compiled some palette suggestions below using some of the recommended colours for this season translated into beads!

Feel free to experiment, mix and match and more! I’ve used seed beads but there are plenty of glass beads, pearls and more that can be matched up to these palettes.

I’d love to see if you use any of these colour ideas – please do share your makes with me in my Facebook group or on your social channels by tagging me @pinkhot_uk!

Cherry Tomato, Wave Ride and Misted Yellow - AW24 autumn colour trends in beads

Cherry Tomato, Wave Ride and Misted Yellow

Taken from the Pantone LFW Autumn/Winter 2024/2025 Colour Palette, these colours will add a pop to any outfit.

I picked Miyuki Vermillion Red (407), Opaque Turquoise Blue Lustee (DB0215A) and Duracoat Op. Light Squash (4453). I took artistic licence with the ‘Misted Yellow’ but doesn’t this look fab!?

Storm Front, Dark Shadows & Wave Ride

Liven up ‘corporate grey’ with a splash of blue – in fact you could replace the blue with any of the other colours mentioned here for a lift to the monochromatic greys!

I used: Opaque Turquoise Blue Lustre (DB0215A), Duracoat Galvanised Pewter (4221), and good old Gunmetal (DB001).

Barbie pink meets lime green -AW24 autumn colour trends in beads

Barbie pink meets lime green

According to Marie Claire magazine, all shades of green are in this season, thanks to the likes of McQueen. Bubblegum pink is also a season fave – and this palette just happens to be one of my favourites, – whoever said pink and green should never be seen?!

I used Duracoat Opaque Kiwi (4471 or DB2121), Duracoat opaque party pink (4467) and Opaque Chartreuse (416).
