3 Fab Colour Combos to Try for Beaders

January can feel a bit colourless after the sparkle of the festive season. Are you looking to add a splash of colour to lift your spirits – or perhaps your New Year’s resolution was to be bolder with your colour choices?

I thought now was a good time to share with you three colour palette ideas guaranteed to add some zing to your beading.

You can mix and match them, switch out beads and get creative. My hope is that they help inspire your creativity and help you bring some more colour to your beading!

I’d love to see if you use any of these colour ideas – please do share your makes with me in my Facebook group or on your social channels by tagging me @pinkhot_uk!

Happy beading,

Lime & Blue

Zingy lime, turquoise and blue add some fun, cool tones to your beadwork.
Coatings on beads such as AB 2x on bicones and AB on opaque Delicas and seed beads can help your beadwork pop!

Aztec Fruits

This palette reminds me of summer but also trips abroad to warmer climes. Bring some warmth to your beadwork with matte gold, soft orange and pretty carnation pink.

You might have spied this colour combination in a few of my designs, in fact it pops up in my new workshop design Super Rings (minus the purple)! Bold turquoise, deep purple and fuchsia are always a winning combo in my books!
